American Combat Airman Hall of Fame Dinner

Meet and dine with true aviation heroes during the American Combat Airman Hall of Fame (ACAHOF) induction ceremony. Scheduled to take place the Thursday before AIRSHO, Sept. 18, 2008. The ceremony will honor seven individuals and one combat unit. The American Combat Airman Hall of Fame was established by the CAF to recognize Americans whose service in the air during any war or conflict reflects credit upon the fighting men and women of the United States. In addition to the induction ceremony, the American Airpower Heritage Museum will unveil an exhibit featuring each inductee. Museum "Save the Girls" Lunch

Help support the museum's fabulous collection of authentic World War II aviation nose art by partaking in some of West Texas' best barbecue at this special fundraising luncheon. Slated to take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 19, 2008, the lunch will include a patriotically-themed multimedia, musical presentation.
